Without a doubt, the most rewarding part of my work is the people.
I’m a talker, and I genuinely love interacting with others. I enjoy hearing people’s stories, learning about their experiences, and engaging in real conversations. This work gives me a unique insight into how people think, how they handle challenges, and how they move through life. So don’t be surprised if you call me and what starts as a quick conversation turns into a 20-minute chat about the weather, God, and anything else that happens to come to mind. Connecting with people is something I truly enjoy.
One of the blessings of working for myself is the freedom to speak from the heart. I love being able to pray for people and share God with them when the moment feels right. Faith is a big part of who I am, and I appreciate that my work allows me to express that openly. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t always get things right. I fall short and miss the mark more often than I’d like to admit. But that’s the beauty of having Jesus. Grace allows us to keep going, keep growing, and keep showing up.
There will be times when I can’t do everything someone hopes I can do for them. But one thing I can always do is pray for them. And sometimes, that simple act of care and connection is more meaningful than we realize. For me, that’s what makes this work so rewarding! The opportunity to connect with people, share a moment of encouragement, and remind someone that they’re not alone in whatever they’re facing.
